evin delivers a seductive dose of techy steppers and housey rollers for our latest mix outing.

Fresh from an exciting summer playing some of the hottest spots around, evin is gearing up for another busy club season. The Berlin-based DJ, founder of Club Savvy and Left Bank Tbilisi resident, has been steadily making her mark across the club scene, with a sound that moves freely between high-quality tech-house, sexy early 00s grooves, cheeky techno blends and everything in between. For this one she serves up a club-ready journey packed with hypnotic energy, rolling rhythms and plenty of low-end pressure.

We caught up with Evin to hear more about the idea behind the mix and her favourite track from the selection. Dive in below!

Hiii Evin! So good to have you with us. What can you tell us about this mix you’ve put together? How did you approach the mix, what kind of energy can we expect?

Thanks so much for having me, I loved putting this together! My idea was to record a club ready mix, but without rushing the zoom straight into the boom, boom, boom (even if that meant doing a second take after accidentally recording the first one in mono lol) One hour is just way too short for a mix IMO, so I went for almost two and even that feels like we’ve only just got started. So sit back, crank it up and fill your lungs with the rhythm or the bass or ideally, both – now in full stereo spectrum 🎶🎶

Is there a track from the mix you’d like to highlight?

Heavy Burden by Rob Pearson. I’ve been rinsing it in almost every set lately becauce I’m absolutely obsessed with it. The groove is just soo good and it has exactly the kind of hypnotic energy I want from a club track.

It’s one of those tracks that doesn’t need to do too much to keep you locked in. Peak Rob Pearson <33!!
