A dose of body pumping goods delivered by ‘dancefloor troublemaker’ 131bpm.
With an amazing year ahead Body Language resident 131bpm, aka Elliot is one not to miss. The DJ/producer delivers on both sides of the spectrum releasing some fine works on his personal Bandcamp. His latest release ’No More’ brings three dancefloor-focussed tracks highly influenced bij mid-90’s progressive house. On the DJ side of things, Elliot knows the deal by transmitting energetic sets build on sexy grooves with a variety of genres.
We highly recommend taking a deep dive into his selection of tracks, presenting the finesse of sexiness. Sounds variating from New York to UK and beyond, showing the definition of bounce with a latin touch.

Escrima – Deeper (Nush Kon Dub) (Hooj Choons)
Don’t you love it when UK producers make New-York-like house? I’ve always said 1995 is one of my favourite year for dance music – when both scenes collided – and this track proves why.
El Nick DGO – Escandalosa
A clever latin/voguing edit from “La Goony Chonga – Que Te Gusta”.
Mr. Whippy – 4 U (100% Records)
This is one of Paul Rayner’s many aliases. Not sure if it’s garage as described, but that bassline + stabs + vocals combo hits the right spot. The record sounds a bit better than the digital, so you know what you have to do…
Siu Mata – Amasia (EP) (Nervous Horizons)
Classic Siu Mata trippy-bass-breaks release. Favorite track: “Rodinia”.
Dj Yirvin – Muevelo
It feels good to hear an edit of “Valeria Vix – Viciosa” that hasn’t been played 5000+++ times yet.
Florentino feat. Shygirl – Pressure (XL Recordings)
I played this track at most of my recent gigs, and it sets the dance floor on fire every time. I love the tension it creates and the sexiness it indulges.
Justin Jay – Beat That (bangersonly.com)
Another track that has driven people nuts on the dancefloor. I love the video-gamey bleep synth mixed with the baltimore beats and the ghettotech bass.
Longeez – Rinsey (Hardline)
When dembow meets hard bass in the UK, you get this track.
Mike Ash – PSS I Love You
I’m not a fan of too much acid in a set, but I love a good 303 acid house bassline. Add to that some 808/909 percs, and I’m sold.
m_path – Script (Not On Label)
One of Mike Ash’s alias. This one is giving old school rave, with a sprinkle of sexy house. Thanks to my friend and DJ Camilla Rae who made me discover this, because I LOVE a track that changes vibe unexpectedly.
Josh Steers – FACE VALUE (EP) (Love Child)
A 10/10 release from Josh Steers, it’s even hard to choose my favorite track.
NJOI – Astoria (Food Music)
One of their “hidden gems” released more than 30 years after them playing it during their live shows. Yet another rave house track, because we love the 90’s!
Source – The Real Thing (R&S Records)
I don’t think I’ve ever managed to play this one in a club, but when I listen to it, I see witchcraft happening in a warehouse, like an obscure shamanic experience.
Code Industry – Behind the Mirror (Image Mix) (Dark Entries Records)
I also haven’t played this one at the club, but I would die to hear it on a dance floor. They are from Detroit, released in Belgium, and I can’t get enough of the Front 242-esque vibe.
Carpenter – Filter Rockk (Trekkie Trax)
I am not so much into filter house, but this one is just so groovy and really does its job when played at the right moment.
Boys Noize & Pilo – Pvssy (Boysnoize Records)
When I play this track, it’s always towards the end of my set, and people often start twerking. Only if you want to feel C U N T.
