Silky house grooves, 21st century Cumbia interpretations, mind-warping techno and excellent fundraiser releases.. get a glimpse into the multidimensional mind of rRoxymore.

French-born, Berlin-based musician and producer rRoxymore has cultivated an uncompromising sound of her own. A sound that is composed of contrasting textures and oozes with a distinct sense of rawness, rhythm and eclectic energy. While her genre-translucid productions comfortably sit amongst labels like Delsin Records, Don’t Be Afraid and Ostgut Ton, her performances seamlessly shift through various moods, genres and experimental grooves.

As we caught wind that Hermione recently released the remix package for her 2019 Face To Phase album – a superb long player that sees her distill years of musical exploration into a highly interesting brew of left-of centre soundscapes – we sent her an invite over the airwaves and are psyched to have her contribute!

Badsista – Lucy 3D Compilation (Self-released)
Sao Paulo’s Badsista is definitely one of the most versatile and talented producers out there. I also hope people are able to show some support to Brazilian artists, who have been hit hard by the Covid crisis.

Stefan Ringer ft Ash Lauryn – Let’s Get The Rhythm (FWM)
Such a nice satisfying house beat from Atlanta’s Stefan Ringer, with catchy vocals from Ash Lauryn – released on Ringer’s own FWM imprint.

Altered Natives – NINE: Omega (Eye 4 Eye Recordings)
Danny delivered this seminal double album on Eye 4 Eye Recordings last year. One of the most productive and eclectic house/techno music producers, who deserves much more attention.

Meridian Brothers – Cumbia Siglo XXI (Les Disques Bongo Joe)
A right dose of Cumbia can help you forget your problems. This is Meridian Brothers’ 21st Century interpretation of the legendary 80s group Cumbia Sigl XX.

BFTT – Intrusive / Obtrusive (Polity Records)
BFTT’s production skills are insane. We have a great demonstration of that again in this new EP. 50% of profits from this double LP are to be donated to the Free Black University fund.

V/A – Sisters of Sound Vol. 1 (SOS Music)
There is a new track of mine in this compilation. It is the first release from SOS Music, the LA-based collective focused on female and non-binary producers.

John FM – American Spirit
I came across John FM music, by chance while digging in Bandcamp. I would describe this EP as psychedelic soul music and a beautiful concentrate of contemporary Black American culture.

Mosca – The Optics (Rent)
The first time I have heard this track last year in a set by Metrist, my mind was blown. I bugged Mosca to send it to me the day after. It is good fun to drop it in the middle of a mix – the dancefloor acts very intrigued. Happy to see that it is getting finally a release.

Object Blue & TSVI: Hyperaesthesia (Nervous Horizon)
A hard hitting collaboration. Frustrating to not be able to hear this EP out loud on a sound system at the moment!

Lord Tusk – Paradise Awaits
I feel kind of close to Lord Tusk’s tortuous, weird sound yet groovy and vibey. He is so prolific tho, it’s hard to pick a favourite from his output.
